  5. Teen Leadership Workshop

    The Teen Leadership in Action Workshop was created to provide an interactive “learn by doing” experience for teens. It was designed with an emphasis on learning real-life, usable workforce preparation skills, which will help teens to be successful in the future. No prior leadership experience necessary to attend.

    Goals for the Workshop are to:

    ● increase leadership skills in the areas of communication, professionalism, self-confidence, and cultural intelligence.

    ● develop greater understanding of various personal leadership styles.

  6. 2018 Farm Science Review to be held September 18-20

    The Molly Caren Agricultural Center near London, Ohio is home to the Farm Science Review (FSR), which attracts more than 140,000 visitors from all over the United States and Canada, who come for three days to peruse 4,000 product lines from 600 commercial exhibitors and learn the latest in agricultural production. The educational programs feature Ohio State and Purdue specialists and are second to none in the agricultural exhibition world.

    Monday, January 8, 2018 4-H Committee Meeting scheduled for this evening has been postponed due to weather!   Next month (February 12) sub-committees will meet at 6:30 pm prior to the regular Committee Meeting.
  8. Register Now for Southern Ohio Specialty Crop Conference

    Registration is now open for this annual and newly expanded event. 

    The ​Southern Ohio ​Specialty ​Crop ​Conference ​is ​the ​most ​diverse ​training ​opportunity ​for ​specialty ​crop ​growers ​in ​Southern ​Ohio. ​An ​a ​la ​carte ​menu ​of ​classes ​allows ​participants ​to ​pick ​and ​choose ​throughout ​the ​day, ​finding ​topics ​that ​interest ​them ​most. ​Pesticide ​credits ​are ​available ​for ​Core, ​Category ​3 ​(Fruits ​& ​Vegetables) ​and ​Category ​5 ​(Greenhouse).

  10. Highlights from 4-H Recognition Night 2017

    Recognition Night continues to be a high point of the 4-H year -- An opportunity to recognize young people and 4-H volunteers for their accomplishments, their commitment and their character.   On Tuesday, November 7, more than 400 4-H members and volunteers, their families and community supporters were in attendance as we congratulated those who committed to clearer thinking, greater loyalty, larger service, and better living in their 4-H efforts this past year.   Congratulations to our "Friend of 4-H" Winners!
