Join us on National Financial Awareness Day to learn how parents and caregivers can use children’s books to introduce important money concepts to their children. Adults who attend this workshop will leave with free educational resources and parent reading guides to use with popular children’s books that are readily available at public libraries.

These will be slow and peaceful walks, perfect for Monday mornings. These walks are a wonderful way to meet new friends and soak up Vitamin N(Nature). It’s a great way to start your week and boost your health and wellbeing.

Join the Nature Lovers Book Club in June to discuss The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben. We are excited to offer the Book Club twice in June, once during the day and once in the evening. We'll meet under the tress at the Caesar Creek State Park Nature Center at 1:00 PM on June 13th and again at Armco Park on June 18th at 6:30 PM. Please join us and share your thoughts about the book. The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) is issuing a quarantine for six counties in southwest Ohio to prevent the spread of an invasive insect – the box tree moth.
Beginning April 11, 2024, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, Greene, Montgomery, and Warren counties will have regulations in place restricting the movement of boxwood shrubs out of the area. ODA is encouraging landscapers and residents in these counties to check the quarantine boundaries and not transport the plants outside the quarantined area.
