The 2016 Ohio 4-H Achievement Awards were presented recently at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus and Leah Brown was recognized with the Rabbits Achievement Award which was sponsored by Steve & Cindy Rasmussen.
Leah Brown, 18, has been a 4-H member for 14 years and is active in rabbit projects. She has a passion for encouraging and mentoring others with their 4-H projects and life goals. Leah is the daughter of Don and Renee Brown and lives in Loveland, in Warren County. She is a home school graduate and is planning a career as either a veterinarian or travel photographer.
4-H Achievement Award winners will attend the National 4-H Congress with youth from all over the country in November in Atlanta, Georgia.
The evening was hosted by the Ohio 4-H Foundation.
