To help facilitate important conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), OSU Extension in Warren County is collaborating with the MLK Community Coalition of Lebanon. We will be reading and discussing the book Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? and Other Conversations About Race by Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum. This is a year-long commitment to read and discuss a chapter of the book each month, starting in February 2021.
Participation:
We will discuss a chapter of the book each month from February through December. There will be two different meeting times to choose from, one during the workday and one in the evening. We will start off meeting virtually with the hope that we may be able to meet in person later in the year.
1. Daytime Club: Second Tuesday of every month from Noon to 1pm
2. Evening Club: First Thursday of every month from 7pm to 8pm
