    Join the Nature Lovers Book Club in August to discuss Nature's Best Hope: A New Approach to Conservation That Starts in Your Yard by Doug Tallamy. We are excited to offer the Book Club twice, once during the day and once in the evening. We'll meet under the tress at the Caesar Creek State Park Nature Center at 1:00 PM on August 15th and again at Armco Park on August 27th at 6:30 PM. Please join us and share your thoughts about the book. All are welcome!

    Join us on National Financial Awareness Day to learn how parents and caregivers can use children’s books to introduce important money concepts to their children. Adults who attend this workshop will leave with free educational resources and parent reading guides to use with popular children’s books that are readily available at public libraries.

    The OSU Extension office in Warren county invites you to participate in a “Planning for the Future of Your Farm” workshop on April 4, 2024. This workshop is designed to help farm families learn strategies and tools to successfully create a succession and estate plan that helps you transfer your farm’s ownership, management, and assets to the next generation. Learn how to have the crucial conversations about the future of your farm. This workshop will be held at the Warren County Fairgrounds in the Welcome Hall located at 665 N. Broadway, Lebanon OH 45036.

    Join local birding enthusiast, Austin Langdon, and OSU Extension Educator, Laura Stanton, as we search for woodcocks. The Americanwoodcock is a plump, well-camouflaged shorebird that favors wooded areas near open fields, making Miller Ecological Park’s prairie loop an ideal habitat. These ground-dwelling birds are rarely seen duringdaytime but are well known for their elaborate courtship display performed at dusk in the spring. During this display, these birds fly up in swooping circles, chirping and twittering high in the sky! This is a don’t miss event for the whole family!
