Do you know how to identify signs of worsening mental health? Would you know how to respond and provide support if someone was experiencing a mental health crisis? Nearly 1 in 4 Ohioans experience mental health challenges. Behind every number is a friend, family member, colleague, or neighbor. Register now for this Adult Mental Health First Aid training and learn how to recognize signs and symptoms of mental health challenges and how to help in a mental health crisis.

Location: OSU Extension, Warren County 320 E. Silver Street Lebanon, OH 45036  

How this course works:

• Please register for this workshop by October 7 by visiting: go.osu.edu/ mhfirstaid. The training is $100 per participant and includes course materials, snacks, and lunch. Payment must be received by 10/7/2024.

• Complete 1.5 hours of self-paced learning online (access to materials will be provided approximately two weeks prior to training).

• Attend the interactive and engaging in-person training on October 23 at the OSU Extension office. The in-person training will be taught by Laura Stanton and Bridget Britton, from Ohio State University Extension. Both are certified Mental Health First Aid Trainers.
