Did you know that spending time in nature is good for you? Scientific studies show that spending time in nature has numerous mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits. Join us for a slow walk in the YMCA woods as we appreciate, observe, and photograph the natural world around us. All ages and levels are welcome. Camera phones are a valid option and in fact, you don’t have to have a camera to join us.
Meet at the outdoor shelter on the North side of the YMCA building (near the gymnastics area). This free nature walk will be led by Jim Ludwick (Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist) and Laura Stanton (Ohio State University Extension) and is open to all (members and non-members). Walks will be held rain or shine but canceled if there is a threat of lightning or thunder. Watch this Event posting for any weather-related updates.
