Important Dates:
Dec. 1, 2025 Ownership, complete possession, and continual care deadline for market beef projects.
Dec. 1, 2025 County-born market beef registration papers are due at the OSU Extension office by 4:30 pm.
Dec. 13, 2025 Mandatory county fair market beef ear tagging. 9-11am Building E on the fair grounds.
FAIR SCHEDULE:
Friday, July 17th, 12:00 Noon Stall assigments available and fair set-up may begin. Tie-out stalls and grooming chute space may be reserved.
Saturday, July 18th, 6:00 p.m. All beef cattle projects may begin arriving at the fair.
Sunday, July 19th, 10:00 a.m. Deadline for all beef cattle projects to be in place on the fairgrounds.
Sunday, July 19th, 10:30 a.m. Feeder calf & market beef weigh-in.
Sunday, July 19th, 1:00 pm-3:00pm Veterinary inspection of all beef cattle projects. Beef cattle must be located in their assigned stalls.
Monday, July 20th, 9:00 a.m. Beef, hog, sheep, dairy & meat goat exhibitor meeting (Building E)
Monday, July 20th, 11:00am-2:00pm Beef Cattle Skill-a-thon available (Building I)
Tuesday, July 21st, 9:00 a.m. Beef Showmanship, County-Born Feeder Calf & Market Beef Show.
Wednesday, July 22nd, 12:00 Noon Deadline to scratch feeder calves & market beef from the sale.
Wednesday, July 22nd, 5:00 p.m. Junior Breeding Cattle, Feeder Calf & Market Beef Show.
Friday, July 24th, 9:00 a.m. Ultrasound market steers for the Performance & Carcass Contest (Building E-South End)
Friday, July 24th, 6:00 p.m. Performance & Carcass Contest Awards (Building E)
Friday, July 24th, 7:00 p.m. Announcement of Beef Premier Exhibitor (Intermission before awards are announced for the Grand Showman of Showmen Contest)
Saturday, July 25th, 10:00 a.m. Junior Fair Livestock Sale (Building E)
Saturday, July 25th, 11:00 p.m. Beef Cattle projects released.
