 This "learning by doing" experience for teens was designed with an emphasis on learning real-life, usable workforce preparation skills that will help teens be successful.

Objectives include:

    • Enhance skills in the areas of communication, professionalism, self-confidence and diversity
    • Understand the importance of a variety of leadership skills
    • Practice skills using interactive and engaging methods
    • Learn how skills learned will impact them as individuals and leaders

Equus Unlimited 4-H Club Announces Open Speed Show
Shelby County's Equus Unlimited 4-H Club will host its 3rd Annual Open Speed Show at the Shelby County Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 8. Registration begins at 3:00 P.M. and the show will get underway at 4:00 P.M. A grounds fee of $3 per horse will be assessed. Entry fees range from $5 per class for regular classes to $10 per class for jackpot classes.
